Some Updates from 2014
Well, 2014 is over and its time for a new year of fun and shenanigans to begin. We alreadyhave a few things planned for this year including Confusion in January at the Dearborn Double Tree and Penguicon in April at the Southfield Westin. But before we talk about what we have planned for the year to come there are a few things from the past few months we haven't talked about.
In the beginning of December NUET went out to Addison Oaks Recreation Area and did the evening entertainment for Boy Scout Troop 360 from Auburn Hills. They were having their end of year celebration and asked us to come out and provide to fun for them. Our show included "Whose on First", an escape reutine, and an oldy but goody campfire skit called "The Medicrain." We ended out the evening by leading some caroling and fun was had by all.
Later in December, Kevin and Alex attended the special marithon of The Hobbit at AMC Forum 30 in Sterling Heights. Almost 10 hours of Hobbit was pretty hard to take on the backside but it was amazing getting to see all three back-to-back on the big screen, not to mention seeing "The Battle of Five Armies" two days before it was released. Kevin and Alex had fun dressing up for the show as Kili and Bilbo and were pleased to see that they were not the only ones dressed for the occasion. Another theater goer even went back out to their car between the movies to get their garb after seeing others dressed up.
